This was a SETI Institute website to introduce astronomy and astrobiology basics middle-school aged children. The idea was to keep the page information from being too dense and to go heavy on illustrations, icons, and NASA photography in order to not overwhelm the audience. Buttons and pull-down panels encouraged exploration and gave more detailed explanations or little snippets of interesting and relevant information.
The website was hand coded using html, css and jquery and used dozens of custom illustrations and icons.
