As the graphic design vendor for San Jose startup Diamanti for four years, one of the constants was the design, layout and testing of custom html emails, landing pages and confirmation pages. These evolved over the years with several iterations and A/B testing of designs with minor variations, including placement of icons, color of CTA buttons, number of columns and animated GIFs.
Early during this process I suggested setting up a modular system for the email from which the html blocks could be pulled and assembled within Eloqua as needed. The wireframes and mockups can be seen below. This was approved and used for some time, until ultimately, this became too unwieldy and the design on the left was settled on and used as the go-to layout.
All layouts are responsive and final images were optimized for weight.
